Please pray that our application for state sales tax exemption is approved! I sent in the application last week. The goal is to get tax exemption before we begin making big purchases.
Last week I did some work preparing the application. The State of Florida requires several documents that I had to prepare.
- Articles of Incorporation – already had them.
- Proof of Physical location – I had to write up a use agreement in which I agreed under contract to let the church use our house as its physical location. If we run into trouble with this, we will have to wait until we actually begin renting a facility before we can apply for exemption.
- Schedule of Services or meeting times – I had to design a brochure that listed our meeting times. I decided to head the design in a direction that we will be able to morph into a door hanger.
